I’ve enjoyed the wonderful world of travel for over 35 years, first as an agency owner and now as an independent sales consultant. It's been terrific gaining extensive experience in Alaskan travel. Personally, I have taken cruises, a considerable number of land excursions, including attending the Iditarod race, visiting Nome, Kotzebue and Mendenhall Glacier. Rail journeys have taken me from Fairbanks to Anchorage and staying in Denali where I was awed by the aerial view of Mt. McKinley. I have visited Fairbanks, Anchorage, Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan, Skagway. Among some of the other experiences I have enjoyed was a float plane ride, soaring over the awesome Glacier Bay to a lodge where we had a delicious salmon feed.
