A Day In Pictures: Flåm, Norway & A Scenic Rail Journey
This week, I am on a familiarization trip sponsored by Cruise Norway and partners. I am traveling with cruise line shore excursion planners, managers and coordinators from several cruise lines. The photos below recount our half-day in Flåm, where we will spend another half day today before setting sail for Skjolden-Sognefjord this afternoon.

The railroad covers 20 kilometers and travels through 20 tunnels.

At Vatnahalsen Hotel, where cruise passengers visit on shore excursions from Flåm and one of the stops on the rail journey, we enjoyed waffles with fresh raspberry and cloudberry jams.
