A recent $525 million dollar enhancement initiative extended fleetwide, - Signature of Excellence - features new programs and amenities including the Culinary Arts Center presented by Food & Wine magazine - a state-of-the-art onboard show kitchen where more than 60 celebrated guest chefs and culinary experts will provide cooking demonstrations and classes - Explorations Café powered by the New York Times, teens-only activity areas and all new stateroom amenities highlighted by flat-panel TVs and plush-top Mariner's Dream Beds.

Holland America's 13 ships sail to more than 320 ports of call on all seven continents, ranging from popular Caribbean and Alaska itineraries to exotic cruises to the far corners of the world.   A brand new class of ship called the Signature Class will be unveiled in July, 2008.  The first vessel within this series will be the ms Eurodam, which will be the 14th ship in the Holland America Line fleet, accommodating 2,104 guests and will weigh 86,000 gross tons.

Over the course of the company's long history, first as a cargo- and passenger-shipping carrier, and subsequently a leisure-cruise line, Holland America Line has carried more than 10 million passengers from Europe to the New World and to vacation destinations across the globe.

Holland America Line recently completed an unprecedented $225 million investment in unparalleled product and service enhancements to its fleet of five-star ships.
