Upon arrival at Civitavecchia
port, meet your English-speaking guide and private vehicle for a full-day excursion
(up to 8 hours) of the villas and gardens of Tivoli.

 

Visit Villa D'Este, a country
residence created in the 16th Century for Cardinal Ippolito d'Este from the
shell of a Benedictine monastery. You will also visit Hadrians Villa, one of
the largest and most spectacular villas ever built in the Roman Empire. You
will pause for a leisurely lunch (to be paid locally).

 

After your tour you will
be returned to your ship at the Civitavecchia port.
