Dubrovnik -Best of Adriatic Tour

The romantic charm, home made cuisine and exquisite scenery will make your visit a very memorable one. "Those who seek paradise on earth", George Bernard Show once wrote, "should come to Dubrovnik". Today he might add that Dubrovnik is the place for all those who wish to renew themselves and their faith in human nature. Drive down to the Pile Square from where the walking tour starts.

The Old Town is entered through the Pile Gate where you will find yourself at the beginning of the famous main street - the Stradun. Along the way visit among other places, Franciscan Monastery whose cloister ranks among the most inspiring sites of the city. The Monastery houses the oldest still working pharmacy in Europe (opened 1317), whose old equipment is also on display.

The Rector`s Palace from 15th century used to be the seat of the Rector and the Government, in the once independent Republic of Dubrovnik (abolished by Napoleon 1808). Today it gives us a taste of how the ruling class and the aristocracy used to live. After the guided tour enjoy some free time for exploring town on your own and before continuing towards a country home in Konavle Valley.

The drive will take you along the lovely Župa coastline and through the charming villages of the Konavle Valley. After lunch drive to the small seaside resort of Cavtat. Once prosperous Greek and Roman colony, today Cavtat is a pleasant and quite little town that most visitors find enchanting. Over the years Cavtat has been favourite destination for sailors and yacht enthusiasts. Here you will have opportunity for a nice and pleasant walk along the beautiful seafront promenade or take a coffee in one of many cafes located along the coast before returning to Dubrovnik.
