Jeep Tour Corcovado & Santa Teresa by Jeep
Departure from Pier by Jeep. This tour makes stops at the Dona Marta and Corcovado Mountain, where the statue of Christ the Redeemer, is located (2.300ft above sea level). The Christ statue known as the “wonder of Rio” was recently elected one of the 7 winners of the " New Wonders of the World ". Once up there , time to look out to appreciate the beautiful views of the city. We will then visit Santa Tereza, a traditional neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, which features mansions constructed at the beginning of the XX century by the English who took up residency in the area because of its climate which mirrors that of England. Today it is home to local artists and intellects. The final stop on our tour will be a trip on the tram (that means of transport still utilized in the neighborhood) that passes above the Lapa Arches and continues on to Downtown Rio where a jeep will be waiting to take guests back to their hotels.
