Overview

Introduction

The second largest city in Fiji, and the country's second port of entry, Lautoka lies on the arid, western side of Viti Levu island. Lautoka is in the heart of Fiji's sugar cane region, which gives the city its nickname—Sugar City. It is a remarkably clean city that maintains an excellent botanical garden and children's park.
