Port Kelang

Overview

Introduction

The largest port in Malaysia, Port Kelang is the gateway to the country for the very few visitors arriving from the sea. Port Kelang is a major cargo port and there is not much for visitors to do—most immediately depart for the capital city. Port Kelang is 24 mi/38 km from Kuala Lumpur, and travel between the two takes more than an hour, but this is very much dependent upon the time of day and traffic with the KTM train service probably the quickest mode of transport.
