Introduction

Sete, France, retains the old school, Mediterranean charm that many similar towns have lost as a consequence of an influx of tourists to the region. The locals are friendly and will usually outnumber any tourists, so ask anyone for directions if you get lost. However, few people speak English except for those who work in the main shopping areas.
