IntroductionPinsk (pop. 116,000) has some of the nicest remaining Belarusian architecture—visit to see what many cities looked like before the war. As you walk through the town, stop to tour Butrimovich Palace, the Jesuit College and any of the churches, which date from the 17th to 19th centuries. Pinsk can easily be seen as a day trip if you're staying in Brest. 100 mi/160 km west of Brest.
