IntroductionThis sparsely populated Berber village is famous for its weaving. Attractions also include camels, the little Sidi Arfa Mosque and local architecture (houses crammed in between huge rocks). About 4 mi/6 km north is the well-preserved Ksar Haddada, now an inn (marhal). While not deluxe, it's worth visiting. The closest good hotel is in Tataouine. 60 mi/100 km south of Gabes.
