Located on the banks of the Danube River, this small Bavarian town is an important regional tourist center. The 14th-century town hall, with an impressive Gothic tower, and the equally old Heilige Grab Church are worth exploring, as is the town's historic museum, which contains archeological artifacts.
In the summer of 2013, nearby dikes broke and the town was completely flooded. The damage has been repaired.
