Kenya is situated right along the equator, on the eastern coast of the African Continent. Its Coastal region is on the Southeast and has one of the busiest and most attractive coastlines on the continent.

Ethiopia borders Kenya to the North, Sudan to the Northwest, Uganda directly to the West and Tanzania Southward. Kenya’s geography is marvelously varied. While the Northeastern Kenya is flat, bush covered plain, the remainder of the country encompasses white sandy beaches, scenic highlands and lake regions, the Great Rift Valley and magnificent mountains including the famous Mt. Kenya.

Nairobi is Kenya’s capital city and the country’s administrative, communications and economic hub. Founded in the late 1890s as a British Camp during construction of the Mombasa-Uganda railway, it served as a British Provincial capital before becoming the capital city of Kenya in 1963. Today, it’s a metropolitan city and the only city in the world with a National Park within its precincts.
