Amsterdam to Nice - 2 back to back cruises

Pros: Friendly, accommodating staff, all without exception delightful people. Food and wine selections are beyond compare, most lectures exceptional, night time entertainment exceptional.

Cons: Excursions uneven in quality from outstanding to unacceptable. Crystal still does not provide remote transmission devices for guides and clients and as a result, clients cannot hear excursion guide unless they are right next to guide. A few on board lecturers were not up to the usual quality.

Pros: Excellent service from staff; preferences recalled within a day or two. Professional and friendly at the same time. Active casino with sufficient gaming choices and at-sea-day specialty games. Dining is not remarkable but restaurant service indulgent.Great premium wine choices.

Cons: Specialty restaurant reservations too limited and charging for a second or third visit,whether or not one can reserve at a reasonsable time, is nickel and diming! We are sure those with more stalk miles receive preferential treatment but we pay just as readily and just as much. Deluxe staterooms too small; need partisan between bed and sitting room. Film options could be more current. Improve Trident Bar seating.

Pros: The entertainment -singers and dancers, Serenity Orchestra, Astoria Strings, special productions directed by Shane Morley were exceptional.

Cons: Many FW Cruisers said they were a bit disappointed in this cruise because they expected a "Wow" factor since it was touted as the special 25th anniversary sailing. There were 608 FWC guests which made the ship more crowded than usual and did not allow for special events on board as usual.

Cons: The logistics could be re-thought when in port disembarking to meet a tour bus or private car and drivers. Additional staff to offer directions may be more useful.
