Next year, ultra-luxury line Silversea will take delivery of its newest and largest ship to-date, the 596-guest Silver Muse. So we figured this would be an appropriate time to take a better look at the ship that she's largely based off of: Silversea's current flagship, the 2009-built Silver Spirit.
Capable of holding just 540 guests, Silver Spirit took the best features of the line's previous four ships and melded them together into a single vessel. It also added new features, like a greatly-expanded Spa at Silversea featuring heated ceramic loungers, aromatherapy steam rooms, and a dedicated Spa whirlpool and aft deck lounging space.
Silver Spirit also added more top-of-the-line accommodations, including the spacious Silver Suites that have grown to be guest favorites thanks to their combination of personal space, design and price point.
Silver Spirit also acted as the golden standard for several public venues, including The Bar, which was given a beautiful Art Deco look that blended dark and gold accents with offset green and blue soft furnishings. The look was so popular that Silversea spent millions of dollars refitting their existing classic fleet to adopt a similar look and feel.
So what's new? For starters, we've updated our comprehensive Silver Spirit Ship Review with more photographs, videos and a better look at what makes this nimble luxury ship so special.
We've also added a deck-by-deck Photo Tour of the Silver Spirit that explores her open decks, interior public rooms, suites, and other amenities. Check out our new and improved Silver Spirit Ship Review.
