Located 81 mi/130 km east of Dubai, Al-Fujairah is a small emirate on the Gulf of Oman popular for camping and other outdoor activities. It is the only emirate to not have an Arabian Gulf coastline. Still, it has nice beaches, scuba diving and lots of fresh water.
The jagged Hajar Mountains are nearby.
